作者简介：
李永球
馬來西亞霹靂太平人，祖籍福建永泰洑口鄉口坑村（原福建安溪湖頭 李氏長房）。
太平華聯國民型中學初中三畢業，畢業後協助父親小販事業，一面進行歷史民俗文化田野調查工作。 以李桃李、峇峇球等筆名發表文章於報章雜誌。
2004年成為全職文史工作者，多次參與國內外的學術論文發表會。
出版了數本著作，曾担任《峇峇球》、《海盜與王船》紀錄片， ASTRO AEC 13集系列紀錄片《誰 的傳統》主持人。
目前是《星洲人》電子報專欄作者、 文史工作者、太平文史古蹟導覽員、月琴彈唱人。
