This book is a level 3 textbook for Mandarin as a third language (L3) for undergraduate programs in the Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM). This book is also suitable to be used by all Mandarin teaching instructors and non-native learners who are interested in learning Mandarin as a second or third language (L2/L3) at the elementary level. Based on the approach of 8 characters in this book, learners are exposed to various aspects of Mandarin communications in their daily lives. In addition, a number of 68 vocabulary containing of commonly used Chinese characters are also introduced. The content of the dialogues in this book is specially designed to meet the social context in Malaysia.
