Laboratory Manual for Inorganic Chemistry aims to provide students with a firm foundation in inorganic chemistry through laboratory experimentation. This laboratory manual covers Valence Shell Electron Pair Repulsion (VSEPR) theory and molecular shape, transition metals and qualitative analysis of metal ions, synthesis of complexes, determination of ligand percentage in complexes and spectroscopic analysis of coordination compounds. Each experiment is presented with experimental objectives(s), detailed laboratory background and stepwise procedures. This laboratory manual will guide students in proper synthetic and characterization methods in order to understand the physical and chemical properties of various inorganic and coordination compounds.
